Latest verlihub fails cmake .. Ubuntu 18.10

I'm trying to install latest verlihub on ubuntu 18.10
I did all steps as far as installing deps etc.
At cmake .. i get this error:

Code: Select all

Could NOT find ICU (missing: ICU_LIBRARIES) (found version "60.2.0")

I do have latest icu-dev so what is the deal here???
ICU is for UTF support that apparently Rolex is now implementing in verlihub.

I have no clue about verlihub or linux so i won't be able to help in any way.

After talking to Rolex - Verlihub's developer, this is due to ICU libs "UTF" in latest ubuntu releases. As visible in post above.
He has no fix yet, but he is aware of this issue.
What u can do is use LTS Unix versions.
Ubuntu 16.04 Long Term Support "LTS" is recommended for latest verlihub builds.

Confirmed , tested and it configures and builds just fine on it.
