Customizable hub page URLs.

Now: https://dchublist.org/8268-Babylon-TLS-Hub.html

Shorter: https://dchublist.org/8268 (good as default link)
Custom: https://dchublist.org/babylon

When You go to Control Panel and do edit hub there is option to change hub's name. That field will become hub's url. Hubs ID must be there before that - because thats how PHP gets hubs info from database - by ID.
I think its helpful to see that id in URL anyway.

But yeah if you edit hub's name to Babylon - url will be https://dchublist.org/id-babylon.html

Yeah I understand all that, but still wanna have more flexible system.
At least possibility to use just an ID without hub name, leading to more shorter links to publish.

Hub's name isnt required - ID must be there and it is unique to each hub unlike name. Therefore it is not useless

If no name is specified permalink just include ID.
This might be short but not search engine friendly.
Once name is given - permalinks are seo friendly and hub is clearly visible via search engines. Unlike number like 8834 - who is ever gonna search for that?

Totally disagreed.
First, no one sane will google any unknown hub to connect with; permalink is good for motd. But its lenght makes me use services like bit.ly just to make it compact.
Second, about clear visibility...

IMO hub link with just hub ID (or user customizable) is better in any way.

Google is aprox 30 days behind on indexing in europe then.
Still shows you your old data from when it was just ADC hub.

In USA its updated and shows as 1st result :
